STARFLEET SECURITY CLEARANCES
Starfleet security clearances were first established in August 2136 through the issuance of Starfleet Administrative Order #9. The original Starfleet Security clearances were granted in five separate levels
LEVEL ONE
Also known as "Entry Level Clearance One" - Required as a minimum for membership in the Starfleet
LEVEL TWO
Access level required for viewing most Starfleet material pertaining to Starfleet operations
LEVEL THREE
Also known as "Secret Clearance". Required for viewing most classified material of the Starfleet
LEVEL THREE ALPHA
Also known as "Secret-PII Clearance". Upgrade of Level Three clearance to include Personally Identifiable Information concerning Starfleet members and their immediate families
LEVEL FOUR
Also known as "Top Secret Clearance". Required for viewing sensative classified material of the Starfleet
LEVEL FOUR ALPHA
A special security clearance reserved for the Starfleet Commodores
LEVEL FIVE
Created in 2137 as a security clearance to be held by Starfleet Rear Admirals
