Criteria: Commendable service to the Starfleet in a position of significant responsibility
Award Device: Silver & Gold Award Star
STARFLEET ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL
Established: October 2145
Criteria: Exceptional service to the Starfleet for a single event or over a prolonged period of service
Award Device: Silver & Gold Award Star
RECRUITING SERVICE RIBBON
Established: July 2144
Criteria: Three years cumulative recruiting duty assigned to a recruiting station or higher recruiting command
Award Device: Bronze & Silver Service Star
AWARD DEVICES
Silver Award Star: Denotes additional award of medal
Bronze Service Star: Denotes additional award of ribbon
Gold Award Star: Issued for five silver award stars
Silver Service Star: Issued for five bronze service stars
