SECTION 5: Stellaris & Mod Content Disclaimer
This website occasionally uses screenshots, descriptions of events, and narrative inspiration from the video game Stellaris, developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive. These materials are taken only from the site owner’s personal gameplay and are used solely to create fictional missions, character adventures, and career progression within the fan-made Star Trek Service Record Simulator.
The site also incorporates inspiration from the Star Trek: New Horizons community-created mod for Stellaris. All content from that mod, including custom ships, events, artwork, and narrative elements, remain the property of its respective mod authors. This website is not affiliated with or endorsed by the creators of the Stellaris based Star Trek: New Horizons.
All Stellaris game assets and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Paradox Interactive. This website is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Paradox Interactive. Use of Stellaris or mod-related materials on this website is strictly non-commercial, fan-made, and transformative, and no game files or mod assets are redistributed. No copyright infringement is intended.
SECTION 6: AI-Generated Portraits & User-Submitted Photo Disclaimer
The character portraits displayed in the Star Trek Service Record Simulator—including all face images contained in service records, personnel files, and related documents—are AI-generated, and are used solely to represent fictional Starfleet characters. Some portraits are generated using generic visual inspiration based on publicly available stock images (including AI stock and real stock photography such as Getty Images or Shutterstock). These AI-generated portraits are not photographs of real individuals, do not depict any identifiable person, and any resemblance to actual people is purely coincidental.
Player submitted photographs
In certain cases, users may voluntarily submit their own photographs (or photographs they have permission to use) and request that their likeness be transformed into an AI-generated Starfleet-style portrait. By submitting a photo, users confirm that they own the photograph or have full legal permission to submit it, they consent to its use as reference for creating an AI-generated character image, they grant the site owner a non-exclusive license to transform, edit, and display the resulting AI-generated portrait within the simulator, and the original photograph will not be displayed, distributed, or used for any purpose outside the Service Record Simulator.
All resulting portraits—whether derived from stock inspiration or user-submitted reference photos—are stylized, fictionalized AI creations and are displayed exclusively for non-commercial, fan-made role-playing and storytelling. No AI-generated image is used for advertising, sale, identity impersonation, or any commercial purpose.
Users retain full rights to their original photos. The site owner retains rights to the AI-generated portrait only within the context of the simulation. If a user wishes to withdraw permission or have their AI-generated portrait removed, they may contact the administrator at any time for immediate deletion. No likeness rights, publicity rights, or stock photography licenses are knowingly violated. No copyright infringement is intended.
Fictional character photographs
Some characters featured in the Star Trek Service Record Simulator are loosely inspired by fictional characters from movies, books, or television series. Any resemblance is used solely to enhance creative storytelling within this non-commercial, fan-made project. All portraits associated with these characters are AI-generated images, not photographs of real actors, and no film stills or actor likenesses are copied or reproduced.
All rights to original fictional characters and portrayals belong exclusively to their respective rights holders. This project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any actor, studio, production company, or rights owner, and no copyright or publicity rights are intentionally violated.
SECTION 7: Facebook Page & Social Media Disclaimer
The Star Trek Service Record Simulator maintains an official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/stsrs.webs for community updates, posting AI-generated scenes, showcasing fictional character service records, sharing story excerpts, and communicating with fans of the project.
Content posted to the Facebook page may include screenshots from the Simulator, AI-generated character portraits, or narrative material related to the fictional Star Trek universe. Only AI-generated or fictional content is posted publicly. Real photographs submitted by users for AI portrait creation are never posted to Facebook unless the user has provided explicit permission.
No private data or account information from this website is shared with Facebook. All data collected on Facebook is governed by Facebook’s own Terms of Service, Data Policy, and community standards, which operate independently of this website. Users who interact with the Simulator’s Facebook page—including posting comments, sharing media, or messaging the page—should be aware that Facebook is a public platform and any content they provide is subject to Facebook’s visibility settings and policies. The website owner is not responsible for how Facebook stores, uses, or displays user-generated content on that platform.
This website does not collect, store, or import any personal information from Facebook interactions unless a user voluntarily provides such information directly (for example, through messages or submissions requesting character creation).
