STARFLEET TRAINING COURSES
At present, the only training facility in Starfleet is the Starfleet Training Center. Any prior service training within UESPA, MACO, and the ECS is also utilized to determine Starfleet rank and position. Starfleet Training Directive #3 authorizes Starfleet personnel to receive sidearm-weapons training at approved MACO facilities. A firing qualification range was also opened at the Starfleet Training Center in October 2139.
STARFLEET CREWMAN SCHOOL
The Starfleet Crewman School was opened in October 2139 for the purpose of offering basic Starfleet training to civilians wishing to join Starfleet. New Starfleet recruits are presently divided into two training companies, led by a company officer and drill instructors, who provide initial entry level Starfleet training.

Starfleet Basic Training (5 weeks)
The Starfleet Basic Training Course is five weeks in length, with new classes every nine weeks. Starfleet Recruits receive basic drill training, knowledge on Starfleet organization and procedures, and initial weapons qualification. Assignment orders are issued in the final week of training, during which time self-study is conducted towards the Recruit's first billet. Promotion to Crewman is automatic upon course completion.
​Starfleet Administrative Policies and Procedures (3 weeks)
First established in March 2141, a three-week course designed for Starfleet personnel assigned to the rate of Yeoman as well as officers holding administrative billets such as Administration or Personnel Officer. The course reviews Starfleet regulations, orders and policies, as well as administrative bureaucratic procedures.
STARFLEET OFFICER SCHOOL
Starfleet Officer School was formally opened in April 2140 in accordance with Starfleet Operations Order #42. The first Starfleet officer training course was scheduled for June 2140 with each course 9 weeks oin length and a new course beginning every twelve to fifteen weeks afterwards

Starfleet Officer Candidate Course (9 weeks)
​Starfleet Familiarization for Direct Commission Personnel (6 weeks)
An abbreviated version of officer training designed for Starfleet officers who had previously received a direct appointment commission. The course focuses on leadership, understanding of Starfleet regulations, and also provides an opportunity for weapons qualification training. The course is offered on an as-needed basis with students assigned on temporary duty. Starfleet Training Directive #11 required the course for any officer with less than four years of service as of June 1st 2140.
STARFLEET TRAINING STATION ALICE SPRINGS
The Starfleet Training Station at Alice Spring was opened in November 2141 to provide advanced security training for Starfleet personnel who served as either Security Officers or Security Guards. The initial security training courses were first offered a month later in December 2141.

Starfleet Security Guard Rate Training (5 weeks)
Required for all Starfleet Basic Training graduates selected to hold the rating of Security Guard. The cojurse offers a regim of physical training and coursework on field and space security application. To graduate, course participants must passa s eries of physical exercise tests as well as hold an Expert and a repair certification on basic Starfleet weaponry.
​Starfleet Security Officer Basic Course (9 weeks)
Similar in nature to Security Guard rate training (with the same required elements) along with the addition of leadership and management training for Security officers as well as liaison courses for working with otehr branches of the Starfleet.
