Required for all Starfleet Basic Training graduates selected to hold the rating of Security Guard.  The course offers a regimen of physical training and coursework on Starfleet Security applications.  To graduate, course participants must pass a series of physical exercise tests as well as hold an Expert and a repair certification on basic Starfleet weaponry. The course completion also grants automatic qualification as a Security Team member.
