Starfleet Chief of Staff
STARFLEET DIVISIONS
There are three major Starfleet divisions, these being Operations, Engineering-Security, and Science-Medical. Starfleet divisions are primarily administrative titles used to group various Starfleet branches together and do not have a "division commander" per se, although the Chief of Starflet Operations is considered by default the head of the entire Operations Division. The remaining division chiefs and directors report directly to the Starfleet Chief of Staff.

The staff and personnel of the Starfleet facilities are considered independent commands with their own command structure. Starfleet facilities are also required to maintain a duty section and be staffed twenty-four hours a day. With the exception of the Starfleet Training Center, which is commanded by the Chief of Starfleet Training, the Starfleet facilities report to the Chief of Starfleet Operations.
