The Starfleet Electrician Course was first offered in December 2142 as a requirement for any Engineer’s Mate holding a billet involving the maintenance and repair of electrical power systems. The student must hold a Class-A maintenance certification as a pre-requisite and the course must be completed prior to assuming duties as a Starfleet electrician.
