The Administrative Management Course was created in May 2142, following the discontinuation of the Starfleet Administrative Policies and Procedures Course which was a combined administration instruction course for officers and enlisted personnel. The new Administrative Management Course was designed for commissioned officers holding billets such as Administration or Personnel Officer. The course reviews Starfleet regulations, orders and policies, as well as advanced administration and bureaucratic procedures.
