The surface of Titan is composed of ice and rock, blanketed by thick clouds of methane and nitrogen, with the average temperate minus 296 degrees Fahrenheit. Titan contains several liquid methane lakes, rivers, and seas, as well as an extensive dune system.
During the Third World War, an effort was made to relocate various displaced populations to Titan; however, due to the extreme environmental and life support requirements, only one settlement was ever founded, in addition to the original UESPA outpost at Christopher's Landing.

The Titan Omega training facility offers an advanced EVA spacesuit course, known as the "Omega Training Course" a well as a space assault tactics course, utilizing Saturn's moon Janus. The Janus and Omega training courses are collectively referred to as "the Janus loop" and are considered among the most difficult military training courses to complete.
