Humans are the predominate species of the planet Earth and have further colonized Mars and Luna, as well as outposts on Europa and Titan. Humans are viewed as fair and impartial, with an overall positive moral sense. However, in times of crisis, humans have shown a tendency towards extreme barbarism and cruelty.
The diversity of the biome of Earth has produced several ethic branches of the human species
Vulcans are the native intelligent life of Vulcan and are known as highly intelligent and resourceful, a result of a philosophy of total logic through the rejection of all emotion. Biologically, however, Vulcans still retain strong emotions which manifest themselves once every seven years during a mating period known as Pon farr.
Tellarites evolved from pig-like animals on their home world of Tellar and have since evolved into one of the purest democracies ever encountered. Thier government, the Tellarite Technocracy, advocates pure honesty and continuous debate, leading to the phrase "Tellarites do not argue for a reason, they simple argue".
The Denobulans are the native race of the Denobula Triaxa star system. Denobulan social structure is extremely complicated, with extended families of three husbands for every female with each husband also having three wives.
Orions are the native intelligent life of the Pi Orionis star system, known for their green skin. Females of the race possess a unique biology capable of producing pheromones with the ability to overpower males, almost to the point of mind control.
The Deltans (their native name being unpronounceable) are a hairless humanoid race known for a prolific level of pheromones capable of overwhelming other species. Because of this, most Deltans declare a "vow of celibacy" before coming into contact with aliens.
Rigelians are the predominate intelligent life of the Beta Rigel star system. Rigelians hold a unique and similar physiology with the Vulcans, suggesting an ancient connection at some point in the past.
Native Species
The Centaurians are the native race of Alpha Centauri, residing on the planet Al Rijil of the Alpha Centauri star system. The species is considered "humanoid" meaning there are slight differences between the Centaurians and the human race of Earth.
The Chelon are a reptilian race native to Rigel IV, existing primarily in that world's rich and lush river valleys. The Chelon exist at a technology level approximate to Earth's Middle Ages, but are aware of other life and often trade with Rigelians.
The Kalar are the native race of Rigel VII and are large muscular humanoids, generally between six and seven feet tall and typically aggressive. The Kalar are considered an underdeveloped race and currently exist at a Bronze Age level of technology.
