The Deltans (their native name being unpronounceable to most other species) are a hairless humanoid race known for producing powerful pheromones capable of overwhelming members of other species. Because of this, most Deltans declare a “vow of celibacy” before coming into close contact with aliens. The species is generally considered peaceful and benevolent and is known for exerting a calming influence on other races.
