Denobulans are native to the Denobula Triaxa system and possess a highly complex social structure where individuals typically have three spouses, each of whom has three spouses of their own. While biologically similar to humans, their unique metabolism requires a 5-to-6 day annual hibernation cycle. Physically, Denobulans are exceptionally agile, able to rapidly scale sheer surfaces without equipment. When threatened, they utilize an instinctual biological defense mechanism, inflating their facial and neck ridges to appear larger, much like a Terran blowfish.
