Denobulan
Denobula is the primary planet of the Denobula Traixa star system and the only habitable planet within the combined trinary system. The planet consists of two large continents, surrounded by smaller islands, with approximately twelve billion inhabitants.
Major cities and Mega-Cities of Denobula
Denobula is heavily populated by the Denobulan race, who exist in several mega-cities across the planet and who live in complex social structures to accommodate immense and complicated familial structures. As a result, every Denobulan considers themselves in some way related, and the culture is overwhelmingly friendly and open to outsiders and new ideas. Denobula is located on a major trade route between Earth, the Vega Colony, and Deltan Space, making Denobula an interstellar trade hub as well.
Denobula’s history is pocketed with periods which the Denobulans themselves have stated “were not our finest hour”. After discovering warp drive in the 15th century, by the 1800s Denobula had been involved in several wars with its neighbors with documented reports of medical experiments on prisoners and other war crimes. The Denobulans also heavily experiment with genetic engineering in the 20th century, although Denobula generally avoided the negative consequences often associated with this branch of science.
