Delta IV (known also as Dhei) is the homeworld of the Deltan race and the capitol of the Deltan Union. The planet is a lush jungle world with oceans caked in algae, releasing nitrogen byproducts into the atmosphere and giving the planet a distinctly greenish colored appearance.

The history of Dhei (Delta IV) dates back approximately four thousand years, however very little is known concerning Deltan pre-history with virtual no archaeological evidence of habitation on Delta IV from that time. This had led to theories that the Deltans may have “seeded” on the world by an advanced civilization, and were possibly genetically engineered for extreme procreativity, given the high pheromone production in the Deltan species and an overwhelming urge to reproduce.
