Rigel VI has few cities, with most of the population working in agrarian sectors or in industrial complexes located near resource deposits in the planet’s various mountain ranges. The planet is considered a colony of the Rigelian Consortium whose primary purpose is to export food and other goods. Approximately 80 percent of goods are exported, mostly to Rigelia but also to the trading colony of Rigel X.
