Rhadaman (47 Ursae Majoris) is a rocky barren world which is typically referred to as the “Orion Colonies”. The planet was first settled by the Orion Trade Union in the late 1900s and has since become an exotic trade port dealing in slaves, narcotics, and other illicit goods.

Rhadaman is capable of supporting humanoid life and possesses normal gravity as well as a breathable oxygen atmosphere. The planet itself has little animal life and settlements are usually clustered around underground rivers and volcanic springs providing heat.
Rhadaman is primarily known as an exotic trade port dealing in slaves, narcotics, and other illicit goods for sale outside the normal established interstellar trade routes. The planet is also a haven for criminal activity and hosts a major underground network used by the Orion Syndicate. The most well-known aspect of the planet is its large slave market which caters in multi-species slave sales as well as the sale of captives for use in medical experiments and as food for exotic carnivores.
